They are similar, but the way the vavle body is retained in the housing is with a grooved retainer on the bottom of the lifter crown! - which is actually sleeved, and not simply recessed like normal! The retainer clip fastens over the lifter body, onto that sleeve that surrounds the plunger body, so wierd I don't even know what these lifters are. They don't even look like any off Rock auto (those look like proper OEM ones even!). I am just glad these were in a spare set of heads - and not my engine right now!
